What is prosperity?
Prosperity is both a state of mind, and soul and can be achieved through a positive mental attitude, and meditation.
Prosperity As A State of Mind
When most people think of prosperity, they measure their own in terms of financial abundance. For some people prosperity may mean a few thousand dollars in the bank, while others holding onto millions do not consider themselves prosperous at all. Prosperity is a state of mind, where one reaches happiness and peace about oneself.
In order to be truly prosperous the mind must feel abundance in all areas of life including mental, spiritual, health, and wealth. The mind can then completely accept that life has so much to offer. If a person feels, or focuses only on the lack of abundance in one or more of these areas in their life, then that feeling of lack can flow over into another area of the mind ultimately affecting their health, wealth, and happiness.
How can one truly feel abundance in all areas of their life? By living in a state of continual expectancy, a state of mind that is open to inspiration and ideas, always allowing the intuitive knowledge of the Universal Mind to flow to and through it, and recognizing that God, as the Manifesting Universe is the only TRUE SOURCE of your prosperity. If you can find peace in these simple truths, it is through that peace, that allows the mind to remain clear, allowing new inspiration to lead you to even greater prosperity.
Prosperity Is A State of Soul
I once read somewhere that praying is talking to God, whereas meditation is listening to God. When you meditate, you are filled with the presence of your Higher God-Being, your Universal Mind. It is in this state of Oneness with the Universal Mind that enables you to maintain a positive attitude as you experience the various aspect of your daily life. Through meditation, one can fully realize that because God is within you, that you have the intelligence and the wisdom of the Universal Mind working within and through you as you attract and manifest the prosperity you truly deserve. This conscious state of mind, this knowing, gives you the confidence to maintain a positive mental attitude focusing only on abundance instead of lack.
How Do You Develop A Mind That Attracts Prosperity?
What is a belief? A belief is just a thought that you have repeated over and over to yourself. In order to develop your mind to focus on true abundance, you must first start by changing some of those limiting beliefs that we have practiced telling ourselves for so many years.
Here are a few other simple little things you can do to start that change:
- Fake it until you make it - Begin to live and act in ways that say you are already prosperous, focus on even the smallest blessings, they add up to monumental blessings.
- Examine your circle of influence - You are the average of your five friends. Begin to associate only with those who have a positive attitude about life, don’t allow yourself to be influenced by the a few people around you who only see what is lacking in life.
- Money is NOT the root of all evil - Change your views on money. Throw out those “old time religion” beliefs, and understand that God is a loving God, and wants only the best for us.
- Reject thoughts of negation - Become consciously aware of your words and thoughts, and as any thoughts of lack, or negativity enter your mind, cancel them out quickly and instead affirm that you are already prosperous, and that the Universe is already supplying your every need.
- Meditate Daily - Still your mind and listen to God, open up the channels of inspiration and intuition, allow the Universal Mind to work within and through you.
- Practice The Law of GOYA - Get Off Your Ass. Faith without works is dead - James 2:20.
- Affirmations - Program your mind daily with positive affirmations. Begin to replace those old negative beliefs with new positive beliefs focusing on prosperity and abundance. Build a strong prosperity foundation in your subconscious mind, by going into a light state of meditation and repeating positive affirmations to yourself.
Sample Positive Affirmations
- Each day, I share the wealth of God’s abundance around me.
- I affirm that in the Presence of God, I already am prosperous and that this prosperity is beginning to materialize around me.
