We have all been lost at one time or another as we’re driving through a new city, or just a different part of our own city and we don’t recognize a single thing around us.
Along with confusion anxiety begins to set in and what happens? Things seem to just get worse and spiral out of control. You are no longer keeping your eyes on the road so you miss the clues that would get you back onto your path, you fail to stop at a sign and almost hit some unsuspecting traveler, and if there isn’t anyone to yell at in your car, then you’re sharing your frustration with the rest of the world while educating them on New York’s state bird.
That’s where I was for years. I was running around my life without any direction, anxious and in a state of confusion and this caused me to miss all those clues that would get me heading into the right direction for success.
Thank the good Lord for friends. Because it was friends who stuck by me during this time and reminded me of the great qualities within me that I have to offer this big blue marble that helped me to finally get back on the right path, and here I am.
I am thankful I have found my path again, I am thankful that because I am on the right path that the things I believe I deserve in life will now become reality.
